In 2009 the official Movember Netherlands committee celebrated the very first International Men's Day in the Netherlands by holding a charity auction of some fantastic prints donated by some of this county's top up and coming photographers and established names. Hosts for the evening were the creative geniuses at Sid Lee Collective - are the event included laid back sounds and plenty of fun. Attendees helped to support "Changing the Face of Men's Health" in The Netherlands – all funds raised went straight to the beneficiary partner – the Antoni van Leeuwenhoek Cancer Research Fund. The event was held at 8pm on Nov 19 at the Sid Lee Collective, Gerard Doustraat 74, 1072 VV Amsterdam.

Volgende vrijdag, 19 November, zal de enige echte 'VRIMISNO' plaatsvinden, oftewel de vrijdagmiddagSnorrel.
Deze zal plaatsvinden in de Kathmandu, de 'bar dancing' boven de Woolloomooloo, Janskerkhof 14te Utrecht, en zal aanvangen om 18.00 uur.
De opbrengst zal grotendeels gaan naar het NKI/AvL om op deze manier samen met de opbrengst van de 'Mo Bro's' geld in te zamelen voor meeronderzoek naar prostaatkanker.
Dus komt allen en drink voor het goede doel! Mooier kan het toch niet? |
